Oh, yeah....had a girl once that painted the stairs a pepto-bismal pink, and all the woodwork black.....
Mostly we have big old Victorian era homes, that are divided into apartments, one goofy tenant can really cause a problem.

Did they abandon the majority of their stuff? It seems being a pack rack in a rental situation would be bad move.

Yes, it took two days, with three trucks and a trailer to clean it out.
On top of that, large sections of the floor had to be cut out, including some floor joists. Some of the many boxes got wet somehow and rotted the wood....

Absolutely not! Have you ever seen those shows on TLC about this?
This woman was "mentally impaired", she even tried to fight her eviction(she lost of course)
