New Map Shows Earthquake Prone Places Across U.S.

My first reaction when coming across this was, “It's all due to man-made Climate change.” And then, I asked myself, :Why the instant sarcasm?”

I guess it comes down to spending too much time on discussion forums where such things always pop up by the same posters. So now, I'm wondering which one will blame this map on Mankind.

Read the story @ http://time.com/3002710/earthquake/

Oops! It's right in the report! Of course, a government agency has to blame the increase on fracking. Why am I not surprised?

One of the biggest quakes to hit the US was several hundred years ago just east of Memphis, guess fracking was to blame for that one too...

Map doesn't show for me. A lot of earthquakes in Oklahoma lately. Biggest one ever in the US was on the New Madrid fault in SE Missouri. The Mississippi river flowed backwards. I think it was 1812.

Yep, Cali is still in the hot zone. Fortunately, we can't afford earthquakes anymore.

One of the quakes in the New Madrid fault was felt when I lived in KC in the 80s. And KC is in a blue zone.

We all forget that the solid ground beneath our feet floats atop a mass of molten rock. There is nothing puny Mankind is going to do to increase or decrease what will happen beneath our feel.
