"Unusual event" at the nuclear plant
To all those listening to the news and are scared of the plant near the 5.8 quake in Virginia. An "unusual event" is declared at ANY nuclear powerplant when an earthquake, brush fire, etc., What happens is they shut the powerplant down, and run through the plant testing systems structures etc., to ensure the plant is safe to operate. The news media is trying to make a big deal out of it but this is standard procedure after any event.
Don't let CNN or FOX get you scared about it to get ratings.
Most nuclear powerplants have them.
