Took this in early summer, local cemetery, we go to look at the rhododendron.

Definitely a casting, and much more interesting in person...lol

I come across quite a few old cemetery's, just never took many pics, guess I will now.

I took a walk today, about 5min. through the woods to this old cemetery.

These are really not unusual, considering the time frame. I just thought this family had some bad luck with kids.

There are seven...ooohh, seven deadly sins, I do wonder what happened.

The first two pics show the position of the stones, all in a row!!

George seems to be the luckiest child...next is the headstone that I think is the parents.

It appears that the wife, Margaret, was 19 when she had her first child. She tried giving birth every 2.7yrs.

I wonder how she kept her sanity??? Maybe she didn't.

I stumble upon these old grave sites rather often, I just never gave it much thought...

Our troubles today seem minor, in comparison....

mhm.. this probably happened more than not to families back then. We now have great medical help. She died rather young too. I wonder if she had any living children..
