Freehand TIG from a guy in our shop.
That's the fill/safety release fitting on a hermetically sealed aircraft engine fire extinguisher.
The extinguishing agent is pressurized to about 700 psi in that particular bottle.





I never did anything that crucial, although I did weld (tig) up some turbine blades. Tig is the better way to go on tubing, say for a roll cage, etc. or body if you're good enough. This pic demonstrates that the guy who did it is obviously that good (and probably then some)

We've got a guy that does pretty nice MIG work as well. Works in our paint shop but has extensive body shop experience and a very large workshop at his house.

When I get enough cash together, that's where my jeep will be going for a tub off refab.

The guy will work for rhubarb
