I really hate urban pedestrians that hit the little button at traffic lights to give them the right of way walk signal, and then don't wait and just jaywalk while traffic backs up for no reason.

One of these days I'm going to vent!!

I agree I think that they are there just to make the pedestrian think that something is going to happen if they push them.

Up here they actually do work, but there's a time delay.
That's why people end up jaywalking after pushing the button and losing patience.
When the "Walk" light does come on, there's no one there anymore but traffic is still halted.

MOVIE THEATRES . . .they get me PO'd.

Why, after paying an arm and a leg and STILL required to touch your toes and pay MORE YET, do they make us go through countless advertisement. Now companies make us PAY to sell us crap we don't need or want?

Only if you let them. I gave that up once VHS came out.

Why would I want to pay 10 times as much to a theater where people talk, take cell calls and "buttered" popcorn is most definitely made with butter?

(a few DVD's won't permit being fast forwarded through the ads.) : (

Ugh, forgot grandpa pulls trench duty too.

There are all manner of film offerings I've avoided over the years.

It's not that I dislike kids. They great to play with but I like going home afterwards.

I enjoy kids and the only thing that kept us from having many more was the buckage (or lack of it)

It would be nice if most parents looked at the long term needs of getting a kid ready to confront life on their own. The last time I saw the figures of the cost of educating one child thru college the numbers were huge and that was 10 years ago.
