Choice or requirement? One of neighbors was just discharged from the Navy for his weight.

Good luck, meat makes up the majority of my diet. I would imagine it's the same for most of us.

Also better dental hygiene, flossing and brushing after each meal. Drinking water only esp. no sugar drinks unless with a meal and even then cut back on those.

Kinda both. I'm at 203 now - I have to be at 197 by Feb 28th, but it's normal for me to have to lose a few for a weigh-in. I want to be down to at least 190 so I can focus more on running this year than lifting.

I started flossing regularly sometime ago, but I recently had some troubles and am now more diligent about my oral hygiene.

Lifting packs on the pounds, when I'm actively lifting I weigh more than normal overweight self, but I look trimmer.

Well I want to lose 16 lbs
During the holidays between my wife"s and my patients we had 3 deliveries of sweets a day. My technician gained the most though our secretaries were right up there.
I have lost 6 lbs since Sunday so 10 more to go. Pretty easy as long as the junk food is no longer being delivered.
I cut out ale during the week, eat small portions and started swimming every morning.
I never go crazy on diets I just cut down on portion size.

I don't diet, I work out more or less depending on consumption.

I have been surviving off of soup for a week, I stopped working out till I can eat real food again.

Well, it has been 15 days since the new year arrived. How many have kept to their resolutions so far?
