you must be old

When you have a surprise Birthday party for your oldest Child. In fact , my oldest Daughter's Birthday " Valentines Day" baby!. 50 years ago! We all surprised her last night, it was a well planed surprise. Rhonda is a strong take control kind of girl, but, last night my baby shed some tears, she was over whelmed. and then in walked her little brother. Then more tears. Lonnie didnt tell anyone he was coming in from Quincy. A awesome surprise, I was really proud to see the entire family be so close. It WAS great, I love my family.

My oldest is also 37. As you can see, the apples don't fall far from the tree!

That pic makes me want to apologize for speeding and remind him that my father spent 30 years in law enforcement.

I actually pushed him away from law enforcement. He tried for years to become a fireman, because that was his speciality in the Navy, but due to affirmative action, his test scores needed to be twice as good.

My Dad pushed us a way from it and so far out of three kids not one of us will go near it.

I think it takes a special type, a type I am not.

I did follow him into funeral work for a bit.
