Favorite Oklahoma Lake

What is your favorite Oklahoma lake... and why?

I think my favorite would be Magee Creek Resv. Love the tall trees and while there, some where on the lake is always as smooth as glass.

I would have to say Tenkiller, because it's about a mile from my house. Also it is the best lake in OK for SCUBA diving.

I grew up in North central Ok, and love Kaw lake. There really is some good fishing and the camping is or at least was pretty affordable. I haven't been up that way in a few years though and I do miss it. We live kinda near Tenkiller now and it's a pretty lake, just haven't done much there....yet.

I'm with Okgasdude. Lake Tenkiller is great. I'm about 25mi from the dam. If its warm enough to put the top down, I'm there.

Kaw and Keystone. Dirty water but good people and close to home. Got a house on Beaver Lake in Arkansas if I want to go scuba diving.

I prefer smaller pieces of water for my fishing enjoyment, so I would vote Dahlgren as it is the closest to my place and I enjoy it, but the fishing sucks.

Lake Murray is my favorite. Its the clearest water and not that busy. Fishing isn't that great though.

Lake Tom Steed for southwest Oklahoma(very quiet and clean), Lake Elmer Thomas for family recreation without a boat(they have waterslides and sand etc.) but Lake Texoma for the state as a whole.
