Nelly is going to play at halftime. That's pretty cool. I had the opportunity to go to the first game but unfortunately can't make it. I will definately be going to a few of the games though.

I heard earlier in the week that Omaha will host the league championship game!

Haven't been yet but heard from those who have that it's awesome! Ton of fun!

I think this league has a better business model than the XFL did. They have moved into markets with no pro football and have players with names that people recognize. I have seen a couple of games on TV and I have been impressed.

I think the UFL is going to survive... I have heard hopes that the league's higher-ups are trying to shape the UFL into an NFL development league...

I'd say if they solidify a relationship - no matter how in depth or whatnot - with the NFL, it should fare pretty well.

I think Omaha was also a great choice for their newest franchise. People here have really embraced the Nighthawks this season, let's hope that carries over into next year and this wasn't just the new novelty in town

It's nice that they have some "old" NFL players on the roster, but it will probably go the way of the old USFL and others.
