Is there still a national surfing contest in Huntington Beach?
I loved watching the OP Pro in the 80s.

Yep. Huntington Beach is about a 45 minute drive for me, but have never seen a surfing contest live. Too many crowds, no parking, expensive food, etc. They are still televised, but I'd rather watch the surfing finals at Waimea Bay, Hi. Them 40-60 foot waves are awesome!
