If you come to Oregon, you have to come to Bend. You can't go wrong and will not regret it. Skiing in the winter, mt. biking all summer, camping, etc.

A former governor declared the Oregon Coast a common highway so all of it is accessible to anyone.

I agree. You should definitely check out Multnomah Falls if you enjoy hiking with some of the most beautiful scenery in Oregon. Also, Portland is a great place to get some good food and and culture.

Eagle Creek Overlook is one of my favorite places to go... swimming, hiking, fishing, and camping can be done there

I have to reccommend the area surrounding Bend and Redmond. There are plenty of awesome fishing/camping/hiking places on both the crooked and deschutes rivers. There is a campground called "trout creek camp", which my family has gone to yearly for many years. There are mesas to climb, five miles of fishable river, and the campground is beautiful. Beware of rattlesnakes though.

If you make it down to southern Oregon, you should check out Crater Lake. It is the deepest and one of the clearest lakes in the United States. It's near the city of Medford.

The Owahee River on the Oregon Idaho border is ranked #2 in the world for fly fishing. 30" + trout... Seriously... Barbless only catch and release... Ya better be good...

Oregon Coast is nice (and cold). Off the top of my head, face rock, gold beach, heceta head.

For hiking and fishing. Definatly the eastern side of the cascades.
