Downtown Disney is free. I've not been there myself but I here great things. Nice restaraunts and plenty to see. Also try Oldtown on Friday and Saturday night if you like cars. Classic cars on Friday night I believe. Parking is free and it's an open area so there is no admission with lots to see and do.

In old town Kissimmee there are several car shows that are free. You line up along the main street and watch as the cars drive down the road. You can walk around and look at the cars before and after the cruise.
Every 2nd Thursday of the month, downtown Sanford hosts an event called Live After 5, where the close the street down and have a big block party with a different theme every month. Sometimes there is a small entrance fee that includes some food or drink, but many times it is free to get in.
