Locally owned restaurants

I would like to ask for everyone's favorite restaurant. My wife and I prefer to go to locally owned (mom & pop) restaurants over chains. We've had better service and better food, often at better prices than what you get at the national restaurants.

Our absolute favorite is Hollerbach's Willowtree Cafe in Sanford. They have fantastic German food, great beer that you won't find anywhere else, and live entertainment in the evening.

Genuine Bistro in DeBary is a great locally owned restaurant. Affordable prices and really really good food. Check them out on the weekends for live music on the Patio.

Also, if you like Willow tree, check out Polonia on 17/92 just south of 434. Great polish food!

Downtown Winter Park (suburb close to downtown Orlando) has some great locally owned places for food. My favorites are two French restaurants: Chez Vincent and Cafe de France. Enjoy

ravenous pig. im a chef and it's the only place in town i'll eat. reasonably priced and the food will blow your mind.

Southern or comfort food is what some people would call it. Meat loaf, Ox tail, Catfish, collards, black eyed peas. Excellent.
