Well now it is since I have to go to a new insurance company, whenever I can find one. But
that's not why I don't I don't have any. I was laid off when Qwest Comm. was bought out.
So know I have stuff that needs attention and I can't do anything about it.

It's a joke to call the US a superpower when it's healthcare is unaffordable to most. You did nothing wrong, were not lazy or terminated for cause. You were just an honest worker but other factors lost you a job.

Wasn't Cobra begun as an interim coverage for someone in just your situation? It was supposed to be affordable for the person between jobs. Now it's paying full freight so it's useless.
If you croak during this recession because you skipped a checkup you couldn't afford shouldn't you be able to sue Bush and every lowlife that voted BIG OIL billions in tax breaks causing much of the recession? Perhaps your family could sue Bank of America for all of Countrywide's bad mortgages or even Madoff and every agency that allowed him his ponzi scheme theft?
Finally put the 100th Round Through-2826.jpg

Lets keep the political stuff in the political section.

Don't forget I am a moderator.

But I think it is more the company that have their hand in everything so no one makes
them lower their rates. It is a horrible system all around. It would really suck if I got shot on the range
and needed to go to the hospital :/

Human nature is to take the path of least resistance. When lawyers were allowed to solicit personal injury claims through TV the entire medical community should have stood up and cried FOUL. Instead they passed the costs to the consumer rather than fight for something sane that protected free speech but moderated the greed of the personal injury attorneys as well as the plaintiffs who were only there for a payoff.

Anyway.

I have a choice to make on my next long range rifle.

I am trying to decide if I should get a R700 .308 Win Heavy Barrel

Or a R700 .375 H&H Mag

IIRC, there were some pretty bad defects in this Remington that I was reading about. It caught my attention because I also own one, but it has been sitting in my safe for 20+ years without a round through it.

They did when they first came out with the jewell trigger system. But they fixed it
and now the jewell trigger is the best you can get. I have a Remington 700 .30-06
with a jewell trigger system and I love it.

Yep, that was the problem. I'm glad you've done your research!
