Havent brewed my first batch yet but I'm getting there. Had to wait for the temps in my apt. to get low enough. It stays way to warm in there!!! Cant wait to get my first batch goin soon though!!!
Just transferred my first batch from my primary after three weeks to my secondary for a week of dry hopping. Next Saturday bottling it up! should be ready for New Years as it is my son's 21st birthday on the Third of January.
I am still very much new to home brewing. I am still learning the lingo.
I have made several batches of hard apple cider and two batches of mead. Though the mead did not taste very good and even after a year and a half felt like it could be lite on fire. When I share my apple jack with friends and family, they usually want more real soon. At least I can do that good.
Hello from Skippack, homebrewing for years. Has anyone been to the new-ish hombrew store in Pottstown? I think it's called Weak Knee or something like that.
Pottstown isn't too far from me. I haven't heard of that store, but I'm going to look it up and check it out. Thanks for the info!
I've dabbled. I'd love to get more into it. I'm into both beer and wine. Made 1 wine that didn't turn out so hot and have a kit waiting to be made for beer. I'm planning on growing some grapes next summer to turn into wine. There's a home brewer club that meets like 20 minutes from my house but I'm always too busy to go.
