Hershey Park

I love Hershey park. It is the best. You can smell chocolate everywhere.

Have you ever been?

I've been there quite a few times. I'm only an hour a way. I'm not much of an amusement park guy but there are other things to do their so its fun. Its actually been about 10 years since I've been there though.

Has Hershey moved it's plant South? I'd heard it might shut down it's PA operation. That would be really sad, Milton Hershey meant that town to thrive forever making chocolate.

The factory in Hershey I believe is still in operation but the one here in Reading PA closed a few years ago. My fiances' dad worked there.

I heard about that on NPR. I thinl about half the workforce their will loose their jobs in the move. Milton would turn in his grave if he knew, as he was really in to making his employees happy and comfortable.

He was a great man who did a lot for his people and for children through the Milton Hershey School. Today it's just about money.

My ex and 2 daughters have lived in Hershey for 5 years. They don't care much for the smell of chocolate in the air anymore.
