Good places for Craft Beer

Having only lived here for 2 months here are the places so far I've found to have good craft or micro-brewed beer.

- The Hungry Monk (Used to be called Buffalo Wings & Rings) in Chandler NE of Dobson & Chandler Blvd.

- San Tan Brewery in downtown Chandler on Arizona Ave. S. of Chandler Blvd.

- Papago Brewing at the SW corner of Scottsdale & McDowell.

- Four Peaks Brewery on 8th St. between Rural & McKlintock in Tempe.

- Whole Foods SE corner of Ray & Price/101 in Chandler.

If you know of other places with a decent craft beer selection please add it to the thread.

p.s. If you're a homebrewer be sure to check out the HomeBrewTalk.com - Beer, Wine, Mead, & Cider Brewing Discussion Community.
forum.

I have inlaws that live in Phoenix and it's one of my favorite citys to visit. There was a grocery store down the street from where they used to live called Trader Jacks; that place had the most amazing beer selection I have ever seen. It would take an awful long time to sample each one though I would be willing to try.

I like Rock Bottom Brewery. There's one at desert ridge marketplace and another near at arrowhead mall.

Any of the Gordon Biersch locations throughout the Phoenix area. And while there, make sure you try their garlic fries. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

The hungry monk!! My dentist told me about that place, and i forgot the name. I guess they have some beer that is super smooth, and 8% abv. He said it was the best beer he ever tasted! Thanks for posting that up.

Four Peaks and Rock Bottom are pretty good. I wish there were some in the farther east valley.
