I dig Rogue Ales. I know Portland has quite the selection.

What's your favorite?

Been around 10+ years since I lived in Portland but I remember the McMenamins bars having good micro beers. I think I recall Hammerhead and them always having different seasonals. I assume they are still around there

McMenamins has over 50 locations at this point. The beer is passable, the food and service is lame. I avoid it at all costs.

Toss up between Rouge & Deshutes, although Pyramid is good as well.

Wow, when I was last there it seemed like they only had maybe a dozen locations between oregon and washington and they were all in old buildings with some interesting history like an old psycho ward and such. Too bad to hear. Sound like they went the way off most companies thay get too large and lose what it was that made them inthe first place

I like Bridgeport and HUB on Powell.

I like both, too. Bridgeport's Cafe Negro Porter is amazing.

I'm more of an IPA kind of guy... I ADORE HUB's IPA.

Oh, for sure. I love the IPA, too. I didn't even know I liked porters until I tried Bridgeport's.

Lots of breweries are being missed here! What about Laurelwood? Their Free Range Red is delicious! Old Lompoc is good. Amnesia Brewing over on Mississippi has somre really good beer... There might be too many to list.
By the way, I agree that the McMennamins beers are not the greatest, but some of their locations are really fun! Kennedy School and Edgefield are really cool.

Currently into Ninkasi Brewing but a consistent favorite of mine is Deschutes Brewery.

I do want to try HUB.
