Yard Maintenence

How often do you guys mow and weed eat? The new property I'm moving into says I'm in charge of the lawn. Just trying to get a general idea. When I was a kid my Dad mowed, it was his excuse to drink beer and cruise around in a riding mower, I feel like I was deprived.

Well now I know what I want for my Birthday.

A lot of the yard is rock, they said I will still be responsible for keeping it down though, the area is covered in rocks, seems like this might end up a hassle.

I suggest adding many more rocks. Seriously, you should be able to de-sod a rocky area and replant it in some ground cover that's easily maintained. Flowers, ivy or clover might work.

In Oregon the grass grows 12 months a year.

Ken you have a nice place there. How many acres do you have?

Good idea. I'm going to give maintenance a try, but ig I go that route I'll let you know.

I was talking to a neighbor and they told me the deer keep it pretty well maintained.
