Well, I need 14 more requests to get a Yakima Forum opened up. Anybody wanna help get some Yakima love up here? Aww C'mon... Yakima ain't so bad.... Hop capital of the USA and all......

Lived in Ellensburg for about 5 years so Yakima was the nearest place to do any real shopping. That was about the extent of my Yakima experience though. Spend the afternoon, then back to Cowtown.

Born and raised in Yakima for 30 years.. I now live in Colfax, WA, but my family and friends still live there.. Seems like it used to be a nice city, but then kinda went downhill.. Drugs, crime, gangs, the whole works.. They have not done a good job promoting and cashing in on the whole "craft brew" movement, which is odd to me since they are the hop capital of the US.. Probably because wine is the focus here.. Anyway, I miss Yakima and would like to see a forum dedicated to it.

I am just a few miles away from Yakima in Selah. Lived in West Valley Yakima for about 10 years before moving here. I have also requested Yakima to be added.

It's not looking like Yakima will be added anytime soon.. Ceg grew up in the Wenas Valley and spent quite a bit of time in SElah back in the day.. Used to go that country bar in Selah until it closed down 10 or 12 years ago.. Also shot a lot of pool at the Past Time.... is it still there?
