A question about a personalized license plate

If you saw this Bus with a personalized locense plate that said PNWESTY. What would you think it means? I'm having a debate with my wife on what I should get as a license plate.
Here's the VW

Thank you two for answering my question. I figured if you live in the PNW, you would figure it out but I did have my worries that it could be misconstrued for something else.

I live in the PNW but for a brief moment I thought it was some sort of weiner joke ;)

You're not 8 years old are you? (inside joke)

havasu 01-19-2011 12:39 AM

I read it as "peein' northwesty".

vikingxj 01-28-2011 02:26 PM

You should get one that says PNWHPPY!
I thought Pacific Northwesty too. Looks like a cool camping rig!

I would if I was a hippy but I'm not. I'm getting worried that it's going to be mistaken for Pee'n Westy and I'm thiking about maybe going with
 PNW E. But then people will probably think Pacific North West East. :brickwall:

Man this could have been a Seinfeld episode.:teehee:

My son had one of those, Why do you want to identify were you are from?

My son got for his a license palte with German on (to identify the heritage of the vehicle).

His license Plate said: Mein Bus (my bus)

I thought about going with Zelten (https://www.cityprofile.com/forum/tra...k-german-7474/) but my wife is NOT a fan of that idea.

Well I really like the play on words of Pacific North West and Westy (the affectionate term for the VW Westfalias).
And people in the PNW love to call it the Pacific North West.

If it were mine I would try for a plate that says
freezing my butt off.
Coldest drive over Snoqualmie Pass I ever made.

Cap'n Crunch Killa 01-29-2011 12:27 AM

You haven't done it in a CJ with no top yet I take it.
