Is World of Coca Cola worth it?
As the title says, is it worth it to go there for the afternoon?
|
I'll give you a strong probably on that! I've heard it is a totally modernized multi-media thang now! :cheers2: The nearby Georgia Aquarium is also spectacular!
|
Are their rides? Any more info on it? I love Coke.
|
I'd go to both, but I only have time for one (depending on traffic). I'm also considering the Federal Reserve (who wouldn't want to buy a bag of shredded 100.00 bills?).

The new WoC is 20 times better than the old location (down by Underground). WoC on it's own, however, may not be worth the trip, but if you get the Aquarium/WoC combo ticket, it's a great way to spend a day, especially if the weather is nice, then you can have lunch in the park between visits.

x2 on doubling up on World of Coke and the Aquarium. Try to pick times when you will be avoiding kids on their school trips - hard to do.

+3 on both and avoid large crowds

I like to taste the weird drinks from around the world. At least one will make you want to puke. It is a bit pricey for what it is, in my opinion.

The tour is fun, there are plenty of things to walk around and see. I think there is a 3d movie, but not a "ride". I've been two times in 3 years and it was entertaining both times. I'd say it's worth $16 for an adult, even if just to taste all the variations of their drinks for other countries and see tons of coke memorabilia. If that's your thing. I remember a long time ago they had a machine that would shoot the soda across the room into your cup. Now there are dispensers.
Even though you're only asking about the coca cola building, I would recommend checking out the aquarium also. Very convenient. |
I used to love the world of coke when I was a teen, but they have moved since then. j bet it is still fun for the younger ones, especially the end when you try the sodas of the world.
