Online Debate {place holder}
Greetings 78666.com,
I propose the first live chat debate for San Marcos {if not the nation}. If Mr. Jones is open to the suggestion. I posted a new thread as a place holder for the debate. Best Wishes, Lisa Marie Coppoletta |
....still waiting for the incumbent to get back to us so we can set this up - a digital town square for candidates to interact with the public - {he did agree during the Statesman interview}
|
When was the statesman interview? Cause at LOWV I saw the look on his face when you told him "Still waiting for that online debate". It was kinda like:rolleyes:

Incumbent's Response to Digital Town Hall for Community and Candidates to Interact
here is the incumbent's response
|
Don't you have to legally inform someone that you are taping and intend to broadcast a telephone call with them?
|
That might be the slimiest thing I ever saw. That's confirmation that LMC is the nut-case I heard she was. She must have delusions of grandeur to think she has a chance against Chris, debate or not. An incumbent needs to have really screwed up for an unknown opponent to have any traction.
|
what a nut job
I heard LMC was a good debater so I was looking forward to hearing her in the debates. What I heard was platitude after platitude with no real ideas except bringing film here, as if that has not been thought of before. What a crazy crank.
|
lmc, what the hell are you smokeing?? Like swisher said, dont you have to inform someone that you are recording the phone call? You are a crack pot and now more than ever Im glad I didnt vote for you. This , like your campaign is insane!!

And just for the record, the look Chris gave you was kinda like... Uggh, this woman is crazy..... Now I know he was right |
I stand strong on the issues. That is why the incumbent keeps refusing venues of the written word ? unless they are stories crafted by someone else of him standing around with other politicians.
Those that support the incumbent on this thread ? just realize your candidate has turned down an opportunity to interact with YOU and other citizens at 78666. The video speaks for itself and will be in the final cut to the instructional CD. And to those that make personal attacks, just remember Mr. Jones came to ME for my help when he ran 3 years ago. So YOUR candidate did not think I was ?___ fill in the blank your name calling on this thread____?. If the incumbent tells you he did not know the camera was rolling it is selective memory on his part, he even waived to the camera when we shot footage on Friday of him electioneering out in front with voters standing in line at the public library. A still photo available at my blog from this footage. The official reviewed the footage of the electioneering and he will be warned a second time. Both of these video clips have been taken down. When elected, you can offer suggestions live to me on chat while council meetings are in process. |

What a joke, I guess this campaign has really always been about the documentary:rolleyes: |
My campaign has been about communicating with the public about SPECIFIC ideas clearly articulated in written literature and at debates. What do you make of the incumbent turning down at least two opportunities to write for the public on where he stands on the issues?
The voters understand why this documentary is being made and why I am more qualified to serve on the city council. See y'all Tuesday PM. Offline until Wednesday. |

Liar, liar, pants on fire
LMC proved one thing beyond the shadow of a doubt, Chris Jones is a liar.
Her recording of him was perfectly legal in Texas and 37 other "one party" states. I still think Jones is a "professional politician" treading water on the city council until an open seat at a higher level is available. That he is rather dull, unimaginative and incompetent makes him somewhat likeable (or at least acceptable) to us no-growthers. |

You posted several comments on the taping and others did on the Statesman interview where Jones agreed to the online debate. He did not debate online, and no, I don't think it would have changed the outcome. It did prove him to be a LIAR. I said Jones was "likeable (or at least acceptable)", not exactly dripping with hatred. I voted for Obama, but I'm not exactly thrilled he won either. He has no record of any principled stand, in victory or defeat. He is good at getting elected. I voted for him because he ran as himself. McCain became the opposite of what he was eight years ago. bush light wasn't selling this time. Having joe leiberman (the republican senator from israel) as an albatross around his neck, didn't help. If McCain had been true to himself, he would be president-elect. I'm not pissed about anything. It all turned out as I expected. I learned long ago that sheeple are scared of change. Incumbents get re-elected, and so it goes. |
I never did see anything more than a nebulous reference to an online debate. No explanation of where and when it would take place or how it would be managed.
Maybe he did show up and nobody was here. Don't be such a hater. |
how many semis are there ?

Don't know who all the posters are that you combine. But several you have pointed out as "the seven" have been at each other's throats. It's all pretty semi-juvenile. Chris Jones agreed to an online debate. Lisa Marie contacted him publicly and privately after he agreed in the Austin American Statesman interview. He refused to establish a time/date (any time/date he wished). HE LIED. THAT MAKES HIM A LIAR. |
I only post under one name, unlike Pythonlee, Marilee, Spud Lumpkin, Jeepster and the rest, none of whom have been at each other's throats, not that a couple of faked disagreements would be beyond the abilities of soemone posting under so many different names.
I've disagreed with a LOT of people on here over the years. There has only been one time that I suspected someone was posting under multiple pseudonyms. Strange that I made the observation to several people *before* I disagreed with him/her about anything and strange that it turned out that ALL of those pseudonyms were posting from the same IP address. If you think you have found one other user that is me, I challenge you to log in, so that we know who you are, and call me out, with some specifics. I don't recall LMC proposing a time/date either, or any guidelines. Don't be a hater. |

Sounds like a problem I've run into before, outdated software that can't handle proxy server data. Have you run a geographical check ? If it ain't local, you have a problem. If you can't run a geographical check, it's way out of date. TWC and Grande also create interaction problems. I assume you know the first seven (7) digits identify the network. Outdated ip address software is as useful as a gps that's made of paper and folds up. With the proper software you can spy on your members better. |
Damn semi, quit feeding the animals maybe they'll go away.
