Yes I've been on earthlink cable for 10 years. was on their dialup before. Yeah it's the same thing as roadrunner basically (except your webmail is handled through earthlink, if you use it). What I like about the situation is that time warner has no control over me, they can't raise my rates or alter my speed.

Earthlink is good if you are near the uplink center or so I have been told.

This is true of DSL ISPs. This is not true with Cable ISPs.

DSL internet service suffers significant deterioration after a mile from the central office or remote terminal; or 800ft from the DSLAM (as with U-verse).

Yep so true. I hate TWC but I like to game online with my xbox. Got to have the fastest connection. Until i find something as fast and good i'm stuck with them unfortunately.

Does anyone here use Earthlink Cable or TWC to stream Netflix? I've been noticing recently that sometimes the shows have been really low quality, even though a speed test shows I should be streaming a high quality stream.
