Raleigh is a great area. That's why so many people have moved here....helps our local and state economies. I was born here in 1982 and have lived her my whole life (minus 6 years of college at UNCW, hard town to leave but Raleigh is better).

Must be a newbie - that's the _Containment_ Area for Relocated Yankees... you have to be allowed out! :-)

Arrived here in 1978, so figure I'm about as much of a native as one can get without actually being born here. Father was born near Asheville, so figure that gives me at least a little cred.

Give it a little time, mother nature will ensure that basically everybody is from Raleigh - i.e. our kids. :-O
