Favorite Reno Event

So what's your favorite Reno event. We are fortunate to have Art Town, Hot August Nights, Rib Cook Off, Balloon Races, Air races, Street Vibrations, Italian Festival, Euro Fest........

Which is your favorite?

Can't say I have a favorite. I love all Reno has to offer. A ton of different and fun stuff.

I agree, hard to pick to a favorite!! I think I do lean towards the Air Races, the speed and sound of the high horsepower engines is so cool!!!

I like Hot August Nights and the Italian Festival...of course<):-)

I can't say that Reno holds any events that I like to go to. The Genoa Candy dance is my favorite. I also like Burning man because it frees us from the hippies for a week and if everyone wants to free us indefinitely at least they are all in one spot!

Rib cook off is fun, but it can turn out to be expensive if you let it be. I like the Stampede! The newest event to hit the Truckee Meadows and beyond

I'm assuming you mean the off road event, not the Reno Rodeo, correct?

Yes the Off road event.. BUT! Now that you mention Rodeo, the Calgary Stampede trumps the Reno Rodeo any day

The rib cook-off is by far my favorite. I can't find decent ribs in this town any other time, and I love them hot. We live about a mile and a half from the square and will walk down there every day, eat some BBQ, and walk back. Fortunately, the weather has been relatively cool on those days the past couple of years. Before that, we did a table, but they don't bring any of the hot BBQ sauces into the tables area and I had to run out and collect sauces on the sly. I won't do that again.
