Paddy's Beach Bar is a great spot in the summer for cool cocktails and hot scenery.

we still allow underage drinking, we have marijuana stores everywhere, dancing girls in the streets..... ok we dont really have any of that, but i know a guy......

If you're in RI at the right time, this would be your reason to come. Hands down the Newport Jazz Festival is one of the best jazz festivals in the nation.

The Newport Folk Festival is excellent as well.

Food (seafood, Spike's hot dogs), beaches (Misquamicut's nice), beer (Trinity Brew Pub, Union Station Brewery).

Block Island is definitely worth a visit for a full-day trip.

Visit Newport and portsmouth
Wow, why to visit.....

Polo in the spring to summer on sat evenings in Portsmouth - great tailgate and super family entertainment.

Somebody mentioned the 4th of July parade in Bristol. 2 thumbs up!

Great eats abound.

Surprisingly good surfing, if you don't mind chilly water.

Anything on or about the water.

A truly great place. Spent an awesome year there.

Definitely newport... the mansions are amazing and so is the cliff walk..
