Photo No. 4 Commonwealth of Virginia Capitol Building (under renovations)
You can see the following No. 5 at left border of photo.
Photo No. 5 Richmond's City Hall (9th and Broad Streets)
The Capitol Building behind chainlink...you weren't making a political statement were you?
Coop pix...thanks for sharing.
NO!! Not really... They were doing some elaborate renovation at the time of the photo hence the fence.......normally folks congregate on the lawn at lunch time to visit, etc.
I know from Jefferson Hill Park is a great shot of the city, and from Libbie Hill/Chimborazo, where the Memorial is....
If you live near there, PunkRock, might be worth a look!?
Not details, like buildings and statues, but still cool!
Nice pics! I do a little photography and keep saying I want to start getting out and shooting a lot more (I have been playing with the HD Photography a bit) and my son is a great photographer (and musician) & it gives us things to talk about and do together when he is home. I have just been to lazy, on that front! But, your pics have giving me an extra bit of want, so I will get out my camera & see if I can snap some shots worth sharing...
A few photos at the Mataponi River (US-360) and Central Garage (US-360/US-30)

I just carry my camera with me most places I go, so I take a lot of photos....with the 2GB Memory, I can take 1,300, so I take everything and sort them out afterwards....always fun and interesting for me....sure you'll enjoy it, too! Here's a few examples! The first three photos are in the "Mataponi River" where US-360 crosses and the second three are at "Central Garage".....intersection of US-360 and US-30...
