Hey all.. Dh and I live in Floyd, Va. We rescue animals. We also raise pure Nubian dairy goats, chickens, and rabbits. Have Guineas running all over the place plus 8 cats that we have rescued and a Rotty named Sarah.

Love to garden, can, dehydrate foods. Received a free can sealer so In the process of ordering the cans and lids and give that a try.

We have put up 5 deer so far and expect more before the winter is over. Canning the last of it today, I hope....

Everything here is cooked from scratch, including grinding our wheat and making bread. Nothing is wasted or thrown out until it is visibly useless.

We have electricity however our bill runs between 50-68$ a month even in canning season.
