I'm a lover of great beer. I'm big into the mirco brews and brewing myself. I thought I'd start a thread for people to post local beer promotions and events. Quite often bars will feature a beer style or a brewery event and they often have free or low cost tasting and sometimes swag.

What: Belgian Beer and Food Festival

Time: All Day! Open at 11:30AM

Cost: Pay as you play

Why: 26 Belgian Beers on tap. Belgian Food starting at 5:00. If you really need more of a reason check out some of the beers on their site.

What: Monthly Cask: Heavy Seas Loose Cannon dry hopped with local Baltimore hops
Where: Acme Bar and Pizza 495 Monroe Ave

When: 12/8/20

Time: 6:00

Cost: Pay as you play

Why: Have you ever had FRESH, locally hopped Loose Cannon on cask? ?didn?t think so. This keg came in yesterday and will be on tap next week, it doesn?t get FRESHER than this!



What: 12 Beers of Christmas Social (A ROCbeer Event)

Why: 12 very different winter seasonals to taste in a casual sampling setting. Come enjoy some great beer, light fare and a Jolly Good Time!

What: 3rd Annual Hoppy Daze

Why: 10 Taps of monstrously hoppy beer! Some classics, some new to the market, ALL hoppy as hell! If you are a lupulin fiend, you cannot miss this event!



What: 12 Beers of Christmas

Where: Tap and Mallet 381 Gregory St.

When: 12/12/10

Time: 5:00

Cost: Pay as you play

Why: Starting on the 5pm on the 12th of December we will release the first of our 12 Christmas beers. We will release a new one each day at 5pm all the way up until the 23rd.

Why: If you are a Foody, Beer Fanatic or Scotch fan you must be at this event. This event is the first of its kind and will push the limits of your palate and open your eyes to each product at the same time!
