Rubicon Brewing Co. is open until 11:30 M-Th, and 12:30 F & S. Their selection changes periodically as they get in "guest" casks and kegs from other CA breweries, and as their own lineup rotates.
I've gotten recommendations for a place called "Brew It Up". You make a batch of beer while you eat. It's not a sit and have a nice dinner and relax type event, you really have to work it and put the effort into your product. But it is fun. I'd say try this rather than go bowling.
I second the Faces suggestion. It's fun if you're out with your honey. I like Streets of London too. If you're in Folsom, Scarlet's is an awesome outdoor club to go to.
its been a while since ive been able to sign on to this site and thank you for all your suggestions so far. we'll definitely go to at least a few of these places to check them out. looks like we have a lot of places to go now!
