UC Davis Home Brewing class
Has anyone attended the UC Davis Homebrewing class done through their extension program? Thinking about going but it's $270 and 300 miles away!

Wow! I didn't know this existed. Thanks.

I knew that they give professional certificate programs but those are $14-15K and last for weeks. Charlie Bamforth is the professor, and he's world renowned.

I just don't see spending that much. I just said what the hell and went for it. A little reading never hurt anyone. If it was under $50 I would probably go.

Wait, are you saying you "went for it " as in you signed up? And what are you reading? I'm confused.

You can learn just as much if not more if you take an all grain class at your local homebrew shop. I know the shop near me offers these classes at least once a month for about $40, which includes lunch.

Nope, I just bought all the equipment and jumped in feet first. There is plenty of info and help in forums to get you going.
