I've always wanted to go "real" off-roading, but the closest I've got is putting my truck into 4wd for a slightly muddy trip through some back roads trying to get to my hunting spot. As my 2007 pickup is my daily driver, I just never dove into any real mudding or off road adventures.

My wife has a new Jeep... but you all would probably scoff at it. It's a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. It's more of a soccer mom Jeep than what you all drive... but man... it sure is a sweet ride! Hers is 2wd with the new V6 engine. I've been considering trading in my Dodge Ram 4x4 for a 4x4 / Hemi version of the Overland. But even then, I don't think I'd have what it really takes to go "real" off roading. It sure would tow my boat in style though!

All the best,
Glenn

For some reason the link to the club page does not work for me. Can someone PM details on meeting place/date/time?
