My wife and I were in San Antonio last month and took one of the River walk boat tours. It was beautiful.

Day after Thanksgiving the turn on the Christmas lights on weekends. That makes a nice scenic ride. I found the naration worth the cost of the ride; learned alot of neat facts.

Yep, boats, taxis, and they even offer moon light dinner cruises. They are working expanding the riverwalk all the way up to the zoo

Last time I was there the rides we're nice ..But I'd heard they had gotten unsafe at night .
But then I heard the city cleaned it up .. So ask before you ride to far ..
...And the food at the end of the tunnel is great.

I was in San Antonio back in 95/96. I loved what little of it I saw. The Army kept me pretty busy. I doubt I will ever get back there. But maybe stranger things have happened. I was around for the grand opening of Planet Hollywood and the Basketball Allstars game. I saw a bunch of famous people that night, actors and ball players. Coming from Maine that was pretty cool.

You HAVE to go early enough to visit the Alamo!
Of course, I am rather biased as I had family members who were there.

The Alamo is a must. I have been once with family, my dad is a real history enthusiast, so we couldn't really pass up the chance to go
