I agree with PapiPaolo. BBQ is always a good choice. A good stout is always a good choice. A variety similar to BJ's would be awesome. Live music would be a plus too.

Make a run up to Austin. Check out Uncle Billy's. They have a pretty sweet setup, but could use a little more inside space for when it gets really hot. The only thing is that they food is average at best. They don't even have a decent burger.

a brewpub for families is like mixing oil and water, in my personal opinion. people with families don't go out to drink good beer and eat good food with their kids. they go somewhere that the kids will enjoy. when the couple goes out alone, they are going to go out for a nice dinner at a nice restaurant.

a brewpub is going to attract younger, single people. old people drink bud light, keystone and anything that tastes like water and goes down easy.

I've always wondered why there wasn't a good brew pub that combined a basic menu with a movie? I'd go!
