Does anyone know the story behind...?

We all come across things that we know must have a story, but google fails to produce your answer using the bits of info you can think to put in. Float them here and maybe someone knows.
Here my latest one.
Who owns the single house at the top of the mountain just south of Lake Hodges? There is an unmarked gate from RB/4S ranch. There are clearly a few structures on Google maps. I can't find any info on the property. That is a ****load of property, even by neighboring Rancho Santa Fe standards! I would like to ride my mountain bike through it, but all the nice looking trails (so far as you can see on the satellite image) are gated off and inaccessible.

I suppose you could ride your bike through and find out who has you arrested for trespassing... I just checked it out on google maps... Looks to be a pretty moderate home, considering the size of the property... Maybe it is a bordello or secret casino...

Let us know before you head in, in case you go missing, we can tell the authorities where you were headed.

I guess that you could just try to talk to the owner and ask for permission. Alot fo times they can surprise you and let you ride their property.

My best friend lives up near there, I will try to get some intel from him as he is a well known high end woodworker in the area and knows just about everyone.

As an MTBer I now have a selfish motive. I never even thought of that area!

Yeah, but people with that big of a compound are usually pretty well known.

After skirting the periphery some more, I am not as motivated to ride the area. It looks pretty steep. I am still curious as to who owns it though.
