OB is very big on the "no chain stores/restaurants" thing. Sure they have a few, but not very many.

a couple funny things:

I heard people were against a pizza port opening there because they considered it a chain.

Now that Hodad's (OB's beloved burger place...that I don't care for) has/is opening a place downtown that would make them a chain now too

If you think SD has too many SB, go to London and see them on opposite corners of a intersection. At almost every intersection. -Josh
