Up in the hills above Berkeley (just above the Berkeley Lab) there is a science museum called the
Lawrence Hall of Science. It's a great spot if you have kids aged two to twelve or so... also they have adult programs some nights. Those events are called
Geek Out. I think they have alcoholic beverages there during these events - and there is usually some science speaker and entertaining activities.
