Great Fishing spot!

Apparently Uvas Reseivoir is full of large mouth bass being caught with spinner bates. Best time to go is Early in the am or in the evening while the sun is going down. So if you're looking for a fight check out Uvas for some large mouth action.

Calero Lake on Uvas Road also has nice Bass. You should catch and release here because of Mercury contamination. Quicksilver mines caused this contamination when gold and siver mining were in full swing. Anyway mercury got into the water of many lakes and it is a shame. I like to eat fish. Boat fishing is best in Calero but you can shore fish and get good results too.

Thanks for the tips. I have not been fishing in a couple weeks. I am waiting for the weather to pass...
