Alert! Parents please be aware this summer...

I am copying this from another online source along with any other pertinent info. that revealed itself in that thread:

Alert! There was an attempted kidnapping this weekend at Half Price Books in San Marcos. The police did not catch the man. He told a four year old boy that his parents had left the store and that they had asked him to take the child to them. The boy went with the man and almost got out the door!

From what the police said, this guy has been targeting kids in the area for a while. Offered one little girl money to come to his car!

the suspect's description:

Hispanic male, mid 30's, over weight

It's not really public, this was from the wife of a person that works at the San Marcos half priced books location. It SHOULD be public!

Of course they did, that is how they found out this suspect has been targeting other children in the area. Might be in the police beat

I didn't see it on the blotter, that's why I asked.
