Anyone know what happened to Rivendell's

I walk by it every day, and it looks closed down. It's too bad if it is. There food was good as long as you weren't in a hurry. Are they just on vacation?

what are the plans for the property?

The property doesn't seem big enough for apartments. Do you know if there are plans yet?

apartments

Thinking about it, if they do put apartments there, anything that puts people close to campus, so they don't have to drive isn't all bad. If those freaking undergraduates can stay off the road it would make me feel safer. Maybe it would convince the city to put a sidewalk on Chestnut. Lots of people walk that every day, but with no sidewalk....

I've heard rumors of a high-rise, but don't know the details. I can't recall if I heard it was apartments, but it probably was. I heard they tried to buy some adjoining park land from the city, to make it even bigger.

Did anyone ever get anything to eat there? Maybe the reason they went out of business is because of experiences like I had...I went there 3 times in 3 years and never could get anything to eat?

I thought their food was very good. Not fancy good, just good. I just never went there when I was in a hurry. They were not fast.

Just curious what sort of run off/ impervious cover restrictions that piece of land comes with being 60 feet or so from Sessoms creek.
