Best Burger in SM

Lots of good burgers in SM. My fav is Grins, the "Wholey Moley" to be specific. Great burgers, hot waitresses and frings.

Best late night burger, would have to go with Whataburger.

Ahhh grins.

Yes, great burgers...the Wholly Moley is definately good, and you're right about the frings Lex.

I've been eating there for almost 25 years. Used to help the waitresses serve tea back when it had only one little deck on it and the nachos were prepared in two store-bought toaster ovens on tin-foil. Back then they had a great collection of hats, and Tom Wassenich (former owner - now local Bike Lane & River Foundation Champion) would let me choose one to wear when I'd hang out there and listen to Beacon City Band, 556 Jazz Group, and gawk at the waitresses. Now, Paul & Johnny run the place and do a pretty good job of it. The food is still good and the waitresses are, as always, a pleasent addition.

Damn, 25 years huh Monk? The first time i went there was in the mid 80's. My brother took me there when we visited him. It was way smaller, but same atmosphere it has today. Think I'll go there Saturday when i come in town. WHoley Moleyw/ Frings, here i come! Maybe some broccoli cheese soup for starters. MMMMMMMMM!

Grinning for Grins

Well the mid eighties is far enough back to see how's it grown and know the food has stayed great!

Yeah, get yo'self a Wholley Moley and Frings, a little B & C Soup (damn good too), and maybe a cute waitress on the side.

Yer makin me hungry.

Chicken Fried steak is great, but Ive never had one from Grins. I'd stick to the appetizers and burgers.

Had me a wholey moley, frings and the ol' triple dipper on Saturday, soooo good.
