Not on the Square, close, but I do enjoy Cedar's minus some waitstaff. Food is good and consistent.
I like them too, I know exactly the guy you are talking about too. He comes by the table once to get your order, then to give you your bill. The majority of the time he's sitting in their smoking lounge drinking coffee and smoking.

We have had him wait on us before... I don't think he has very many social skills our experiences have been awkward.
There is another Mediterranean restaurant,Euro Cafe, that just opened up across from the post office. It's okay, but you get more for your money at Cedars (i.e it's an extra charge for fries, they don't come with your gyro). On the other hand, they have a neat little market inside where you can buy Mediterranean products AND they have Baklava, mmm.
