Car Show & Swap Meet
Thunderhill Raceway
Kyle,Texas
March 5th,2005
11am to 5 pm
The S.T.A.R.T. Swap-N-Shine (a car show and swap meet all in one) to be held Saturday has tremendous potential. Newspaper ads were placed in three local papers - the San Antonio Express-New, the Austin-American Statesman and the San Marcos Daily Record.
The Swap-N-Shine is being held at Thunder Hill Raceway (Kyle). From IH-35, take exit 210 (the Yarrington Road exit). The track is located just 5 minutes north of San Marcos and 15 minutes from South Austin.
"Going into the weekend with a green flag form the weather man has certainly picked up the pace for this event," said event co-organizer Aaron Brungot.
The event has also received a lot of notice on the racing web sites. The www.TXSTART.com" web site has been a busy little beaver as well, with the number of hits to the Event Page jumping up 800%. As the event approachers, there is still room for more vendors and cars. "Because we're holding this event at Thunder Hill Raceway, there is plenty of space for new vendors, cars and sponsors," declared event co-organizer Charles Buxton.
Vendors and car owners can begin setting up at 10 a.m. and shopper gates will open at 11 a.m. This event will be held "rain or shine!" according to Brungot and Buxton.
