They were snotty but they weren't out right rude. They were off a few buck in cash for their purchase as well, which I would have gladly covered had they not scowled at the cashier and made grunting noises.

Dang... the way I've seen service people treated lately is terrible, a lot can be said about how a society treats the people that take care of them.
