Did Texas Red's shut down?

The GF and I were debating on where to eat last night and decided on Texas Red's. The number was disconnected and Yelp says the place might have shut down. Can any of you confirm?

I can't, a lot of places where closed last night due to Christmas parties though.

I'll see if I can't swing by there on my way home.

I ended up driving by on Saturday night, and it is now yet another Mexican food restaurant. Just what San Marcos needed.

They are all over the place, I also noticed a lot of them are raising prices.

I won't pay a lot for things I can make at home so my regular haunts are now a memory.

Which place is now in Texas Reds? Anyone visit it yet??

I have not. It's a bit out of my way if I take the interstate home.

I have driven by multiple times wanting to try it out, and even though the sign says now open, it never is.

Texas Reds is now "Milagros" which means "Miracle"... yep it will be a miracle if they make it . An entre is 8-9 dollars.. And in San Marcos with the good, cheap mexican food, it will be a Milagro if they make it. There is one down Wimberley way and not very good..

From the reviews I read on the Milagros in Wimberley, it seems pretty good. I will definitely give it a try and report back if I ever see the place open.
