music
have any of you seen fender and the skirtchasers at the TC, good ole honky country and rock! they kick ass!!
fender and the skirtchasers, watch out, i know they'll make it. have you heard their "if i'm not drunk, i'm not drinking today" song? damn that is so true
I'm completely new to the San Marcos music scene. What are the best places in town to check out local bands? Do they play just country, 'cause I can't stand country...
I think the best place to see live music, in general, is the Triple Crown. Only.......'cause they have live music just about seven days a week. AND just about every type of music there is. Plus the clientel are half way socialable, and no frat rats or sorts.
Cheatham Street whearhouse (stuck up country)
River Pub (great bar, music only in summer, usually big country bands)
Nephews (on of the worst bars in town and if there is live music it's really ****ty country)
Lucys ( put my nuts in a vice and I still wouldn't drink a beer in this place)
Reillys on hunter has music, and sometimes it's not country. Great bar, one of the oldest beer joints in the state.
