:evil: Where's the love for the Turbo Dwarf? Big Orange is fantastic. I am not sure if it counts or not but Gerry's Kids the first monday of every month is the best music deal in town. No cover, 3-4 hours of pretty good grateful dead covers and 1$ beers until 9.

WHY would they charge a cover for GREATFUL DEAD COVER TUNES? Its like a herd of sheep blindly following the one in front of them. Oh! maybe they can argue about who has COOLER dreads or has been to more shows or is more of a dead head. WOW sounds just like the popular people. :shock:

GBH, still an old fav. The Jocks are certainly a good show to catch. The Spiders are great, and so is Sonic Yuke (Spiders dude plays yukelela with a trio and covers really corney 80's tunes...really well I might add.

Scott Birham is a great solo gig.

Not a huge fan for local stuff yet, but if you make the trip to Austin ya gotta catch Orange Muthers, Hammel On Trial, and The Pink Swords.

Oh yeah, I friggin love ABBA.

Right now Fender and the Skirtchasers kick ass, they are old school country like Johnny Cash and their shows are the most fun!!! They play at Rileys a lot (which is also a great chill place to go)! The band I miss more then anything is Edgewater Orion and the good old days when they played at Gordos all the time!!! JOEY WE MISS YALL!! 8)
