Finding a city manager

San Marcos is looking for a city manager. Dan O'Leary, by the way, is the finalist in Keller. Anyway, what does San Marcos need from a new city manager?

We need someone that is going to be pro-active in seeking clean economic development. Someone more involved in the local community, able to manager staff and cut useless spending. Someone who will stand up to the city council and state their opinion. I think our city staff needs more guidence, and not from all the committees of citizens. Someone with a clear goal for the city and a plan of action to get there. A real business person...
